Getting Started with SMAuditor
From your invitation email to receiving your certificate — everything you need to know to complete your audit online.
What is SMAuditor?
SMAuditor is an online platform for certification audits (ISO 27001, ISO 17100, and more). You fill out questionnaires, upload documents, and your auditor reviews everything — all in one place, no paperwork required.
Let your auditor know the email address — preferably your work address — where you'd like to receive the platform invitation.
You'll get an email from SMAuditor with the subject "Set your company password for SMAuditor". Click the Set Password button inside.
After clicking the link, create and confirm your new password. You'll then be prompted to set up two-factor authentication (2FA) — scan the QR code with Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator and enter the generated code.
Once setup is complete, you'll land on your dashboard. Here you'll find your company information, active audits, forms to complete, and project document folders.
On the right side of your dashboard, find the Forms section. Click Fill Form next to the questionnaire marked In Progress.
Answer all questions according to the standard's requirements. Each field includes a Generate example helper and an Improve text option. Required fields are marked with *. Answer as accurately and thoroughly as possible — it speeds up the audit.
Once all required fields are filled in, click the Submit button. Your auditor will immediately receive your responses for review.
If your auditor has questions or comments, they'll be added directly inside the questionnaire. You'll receive an email notification — return to your dashboard, review the comments, update your answers, and resubmit.
Once all requirements are met, your auditor will prepare an official audit report. After approval, you'll receive both the audit report and your certificate of conformity — available in your dashboard and sent to your email.

Is my data secure?
Yes. SMAuditor uses encryption and secure authentication (including two-factor authentication) to protect all uploaded documents and company data.
